I am beginning this year not resolving anything

But instead embracing sloth,
slowness, and quiet.
I am being vague and noncommittal.
Neglecting my email.
My organizing plans and boxes sit empty,
much like my mind.
I am letting the laundry pile up.
Also I am spending quite a bit of time
gazing at the twinkle lights
like they have great wisdom to impart.
